Since our
first course in 2006 we have instructed, guided and encouraged
our students in rock climbing, wilderness travel and
environmental education while fostering the adventurous spirit
in all of us. Our climbing, backpacking and environmental courses will
give you the confidence to explore and reach new heights.
The Outdoor School at The North Texas Outdoor Pursuit Center
specializes in teaching our students the skills necessary to
participate in adventure based activities effectively and
safely with minimal impact on the environment. Our courses are designed to give the student the
confidence to take on that next new challenge whether in the
horizontal world of hiking and backpacking to the vertical world
of rock climbing and rappelling.

instructor ratio ensure students receive personal attention.

mortar facility with experienced staff, indoor climbing and
training facility, book and map room stocked with study
material, technical manuals, maps, guide books and instructor
manuals as well as state of the art topographical mapping
software and wi-fi.
